Social message 2020 & Uniqueness pertaining to social media In this present situation, when the entire world is battling from the deadly Covid-19 virus, people have been restricted to follow up with their regular schedule, many have lost their jobs and are in a hand to mouth condition. Amidst this entire situation, the most awaited festival of the Bengali’s, Durga Puja is knocking on our doors. Mudiali Club which is very well known for organizing Traditional Durga Puja since 1935, has decided to lock horns and has come up with some indigenous ways to organize the Puja, alongside its “DAAY” (responsibility) towards the society. Alongside the Artist, many people under him are associated with a Puja, whose major source of income is working in a club’s/barowari’s Durga Puja, which happens once a year. The club has decided to stand besides, “DAAY” these people, as they were heavily deprived off their source of income for good 6-7 months, because of the impact of the virus. We very well understand that, we single handedly, through our effort cannot bring back things to normal, and that it would be restricted to a certain number of people. But on a larger scale our small endeavor, would benefit all these people, although less in number this year, associated with the Puja. Be it the people who erect the mandap structures, or fine tune the interiors, or construct the idol. It would help them to sustain and lift their zeal, so that next year when things return to normal, they would once again be ready to provide their priceless contribution to the Puja.
